Technically, "tech house" is a noun phrase. Sentences require a clause which is comprised of a subject, a noun phrase, and a predicate, which can be as as simple as a verb. Noun phrases include:
- nouns (The troll)
- pronouns (not actually nouns, amateur or otherwise)
- gerunds (*Trolling* is fun,)
- infinitives (but *to troll* with wreaths is better.)
- noun clauses (That *he, the troll that lol'd*, got permab&d shocked no one.)
In sum, it's clear that the two words tech house are not a complete sentence without the addition of at least the word "is", which would function as an intransitive
state-of-being verb phrase.
