Reaper makes a great ancillary DAW that fills in any gaps (like ARA) that Ableton (for me) or Bitwig (for you) may have and it only costs $60. It took a day to figure out and about a week to get settled in. I’m using it more and more as I’ve warmed up to it over the past year. I’m planning on selling my studio one license in my next round of software purging.

And all in heavy rotation in mixes, right? Not just in the collection, right? Just poking a little fun.

VW2 is the only one I own, but the few freebies are great. Love the chamber for guitars.

Besides Vintage Warmer, the only PSP I use is the stereo meter from the old PSP stereo pack. There are free ones, but this paid one was perfect for me, and I've used it for years.

Now he has abandoned it and there is no small individual stereo meter. The so-called VST3 replacement is one that comes with all kinds of extra junk without any hide options.

There is a free one from Flux, but that doesn't work well for me either. Wrong re-sizes, plus too much stuff you can't hide when all I want is the actual meter with balance, and corrometer below it.

I have gone back to the Steinberg tools where I can dock them in a single display.

The new update for Toneboosters Morphit has crossfeed and it sounds great. To me, it rivals GHz Can Opener and Morphit is already my favorite headphone correction software for Audezes so now it’s all in one plug. There’s also a few speaker/room configuration options which sound useful. With DearVR losing support a couple weeks ago, I’m thrilled with this update. Realphones2 still has its place in my plugin folder, but Morphit is my daily driver.

If you’re working a lot on headphones, check it out. I’ve never seen them run a sale, so €39 is the actual price. The update is free if you already own it.

Made a new track, called "Dangerous Isotope," hope you dig it pals Used pedals (custom NoiseMakerFX Super Noisetendo bit crusher/fuzz, and Emma PisdiYAUwot distortion), used plugins (too many to name, but I keep going back to SPL Iron and SHMC Mastering Comp Class A as final dynamics, with SPL Iron coming before final acoustic space simulation and SHMC coming last before limiting). Synths are Rob Papen Predator 3 and Blue 3.

Technically, "tech house" is a noun phrase. Sentences require a clause which is comprised of a subject, a noun phrase, and a predicate, which can be as as simple as a verb. Noun phrases include:

- nouns (The troll)
- pronouns (not actually nouns, amateur or otherwise)
- gerunds (*Trolling* is fun,)
- infinitives (but *to troll* with wreaths is better.)
- noun clauses (That *he, the troll that lol'd*, got permab&d shocked no one.)

In sum, it's clear that the two words tech house are not a complete sentence without the addition of at least the word "is", which would function as an intransitive state-of-being verb phrase.

I get paid for my work already. Not huge amounts, but still. And whatever happens in the future, nobody gets paid if their music isn't something people want to listen to. And nobody gets paid for their music if they just think about making music and buy plugins and hardware.

The Tunnel is too hot for spinach germination…so I tried an experiment with my seed trays in a few different spots…

Winner seems to be the outside the back of the tunnel on the floor….tunnel door open…

I still have a 6 CD changer in my car, MIJ from like 2000-2001. Works great. Car also works... pretty good.

I still have 5000 of the shiny frisbees in my basement. A big chunk of them are not on any streaming service so I was going to get them all digitized through that Murfie.com site that went bust. It’s back again but the pricing has changed and it’s a bit of a risk sending them all off to a warehouse so might just need to rip them myself now…

I rip my CDs to FLAC for my collection freac makes it easy (free audio converter), even connects to online cd database to auto fill values on almost any album (only a tiny tiny handful I've had to do myself, guess I'm one of the few listening to those...!)

I don't have 5K of them, much more modest collection than that. I do buy a lot of albums in FLAC to begin with though, BandCamp often offers high resolution versions if you want to get them and I think it's neat hearing the master before dithering etc.

Don’t use iTunes, or whatever Apple has replaced it with, if you’re in that world. There’s an app called XLD or something which is much better, and free too. I’d ripped my collection with iTunes, but ended up with some errors. So now I don’t know which rips are good or not. Plus they’re in .m4a, which what the heck.

Go to Settings/Files/Import Settings and set it for what you want. Certainly doesn't have to be .m4a. (But annoyingly can't be flac, so I don't use it that much for that if I had to...)

I don't use "Music" or haven't used iTunes in a long time to import/rip cd's... but it's there and it works.

And out of the thousands of cd's I have probably done, to this day I haven't experienced a single one with bad metadata.

Maybe not as complete of metadata as MusicBrainz or Discogs or whatever in terms of amount of it or every category as things have changed over years..., but I haven't a/b'd or checked... but certainly no errors in that regard.

Over at least 15-25+ different cpu's and os iterations...
