Here at RAZORMAID, we reached out to Mathew twice and offered to buy the entire collection of software, including Wave Editor. I posted my first letter on here, back on November 20th, 2019.
We reached out to him again today, because I know he was in negotiations trying to sell the software to another vendor, but that was 5 months ago, so we reached out again today.
I was part of the original team who setup up and developed WAVE EDITOR, before it released to the public. Matthew and Ev worked with me for 7 days, getting everything we needed to be able to do full blown remixes, as we were originally part of the SOUND DESGINER II development team as well, back in 1986. "The Boys" gave us everything we wanted and so much more! The shear talent these two possessed. I actually setup a remix we did in SDII on one computer, they setup Wave Editor on another and I said, "Everytime I do something here that WE cant do, just say , "STOP". And they did... a lot! <lol>
But what amazed me was they wrote each piece I needed in a unique and much more powerful way ON THE SPOT. Ev would write the code, Matthew would write the UI and then one of them would aaa, "Roll over there and see if that's what you need?" Like they literally write it on the spot!! I was humbled just being in the room with them and this went on for 7 days?
Sadly, I was not instrumental in the development of TRIUMPH, but Ev did show me how be "built in" WAVE EDITOR remix functions into TRIUMPH via "Destinations".
Then everything went to hell.
Had I known the situation developing between Matthew (who was no longer part off the new company) and Ev before things fell apart turning everything off, I would have stepped in and bought everything then on the spot with our tour sponsor, McDonalds. But I found out too late. I'm not allowed to talk to Ev and he's not allowed to talk to any of you for fear of being sued to death.
I emplore Matthew to please let John and I purchase all the titles, so we can quickly get things back up and running, Then use the current software to develop newer versions, to continue the "state of the art" software we've all come to expect from both Matthew and Ev.
I'm doing my part, I'm offering up the cash, now it's up to Matthew.

P.S. Here's a slice of history. Before I flew out of Minneapolis after 7 days working, I had Matthew and Ev create 12 short little vids of the tools we worked on. Razormaid was going to make DVD training discs and I wanted to get the jargon correct. Here the "back door" link that we created for our members, to learn how to remix Sound Designer II style, using the new (then) Wace Editor

P.S.S. I watched a couple and it makes me cry to hear the three of us so excited about what's been created and soon to be released for the first time to the public. In the clips are Ev running the demo (except the first one which was Matthew) and me defining how we're going to be doing everything. Remember, we were coming from remixing in Digidesign's SDII, so that's why were referencing "the way we used to do it...". That's what that means.
These two guys are geniuses. It's so sad.
Enjoy!
