I'm excited to let everyone know about my mic stand company, Base 4 Stands. As a professional musician, producer and home studio owner for the past 30+ years I've faced the same issues with stands that you have. So I set out to design stands that solve all of those common issues. It started ten years ago when I needed a solution for tracking drums in my small space. That grew into me wanting to build stands that I could trust with heavier mics, with arms that won't droop over time, that won't tip over, that are lightweight and can hold multiple mics. Most importantly I wanted to design stands that are unbreakable, with no plastic parts or cheap levers and knobs that fail over time. Once I figured all of that out, all of my fellow engineer and studio owner friends wanted them! And the rest is history. Now I have a growing mic stand company and just rolled out a new website.
