@ sholee , you actually don't need to set the sample rate of the audio interface any more. ReBeat does this automatically now.

Thank you. I'm on version 1.1.3 (standalone) and it does not select the correct samplerate automatically. Do I miss something here?

Also I was trying to fix a track from a recording where the bass has been recorded with a mic and it has a lot of drum bleed. It ended up with crackling audio eaxh time I tried it. Any ideas where this might come from? At first I tried to "rip" the file in mono and when I heard the crackling I thought maybe I should convert the file to a stereo file, but this did not change anything.
The file is 44.1 kHz and 24 bit.

The standalone version changes the sample rate of my interface here when I just tested it. I loaded a 48k track, and it set my interface to 48k from 44.1. It's possible that Juce is unable to set the samplerates of certain interfaces. I'll need to look into that.

I will it try on a few tracks from different sessions - see if it can lower a hihat a few dBs in the overheads. If it does - then i'll gladly throw my money at you.
EDIT: i tried it and it is very impressing. But it crashed on every longer file (+2min) - while initially going through the file - duh. Not at once, but it rarely got past 50 or 70% of the file. OSX 14.7
EDIT: used an update, it works like described, bought it.

Sounds like this would need some pretty funky interpolative re-synthesis... (maybe it could 'learn' what a cymbal should sound like from adjacent hits). I'll look out for that ReBeat Core+ in 2026!

Is there an upgrade path from core to pro. Tried the first build and it crashed Cubase , has this been fixed. It is very impressive but I think ARA is the way to go for pro.

Yes, the upgrade path is simply the difference in price between the two. It's always available in your account profile when you log in to the web site.

I've fixed several crashing issues since the first release.

Thank you, bought, it really is astonishing what it does. It's expensive but worth it for me, well done. Previewing /auditioning the gog files and being able to step through them in the plug would be most welcome. Also setting a default folder for the stem files in the plugin ?

Thanks, what about just having the export remember the last folder used? I'm definitely thinking of ways to be able to browse files in Drumagog. The trouble is the tiny interface. The full size Drumagog has room for a browser...

ReBeat is such a great problem solver.

I usually record my little drum kit with a 4 channel Glyn Johns setup (2 x ”overhead” + snare + kick). Sometimes there happens to get too much of the ride cymbal in the ”overhead” channels, especially the one near the floor tom .
With ReBeat that problem was easily solved; I just slapped one instance of ReBeat on each of the two ”OH” channels and dialled in the right volume for the ride.
It salvaged the whole mix for that song. 😊

I will mostly use it as a de-bleed tool for my multi-mic drumset records, so I hope the batch file separation will be implemented.

• Notification in the cog menu if a new update is available + a direct link to the download to save hunting for it in the browser each time
• Switch between CPU and GPU processing for those with weaker GPU power

ReBeat always uses the CPU unless you're on an M-series Mac. In that case it's MUCH faster.

I'm also working on supporting Windows GPUs.

FYI (in case helpful, Rim). I just logged in (bought Core this week), and I see this:

It's interesting that I can see my order in the orders page, and I can install and authorise Core, but "No Licenses" shows. Anyway, I'll leave that to you (No rush, no need for PRO at this stage - I was one of the happy ones that core was made available!).

@ audiomarsh the licensing section of the website is only for Drumagog, which uses a different authorization system than ReBeat. After you purchase ReBeat you should be able to unlock it by logging in from the app at the authorization window.

What ever algos it uses it is by far the best drum stem software I have used. The fact that they use the GPU on M1 Macs make me think this is very CPU intensive, however in use it’s pretty well invisible to the user.

I'm confused. As I said, "I can see my order in the orders page, and I can install and authorise Core" - I have authorised it fine......

NB: Another feature request would be to update - which seems to be happening frequently - without needing to re-authorise. I can see that becoming very tedious.

Not that it's a problem for me right now. It was purely in case it was helpful to you (I.e. in case it prevented others experiencing the same thing from upgrading). lol

@ audiomarsh I checked the website and you're right. There was an issue with your account. I just fixed it. You should see an upgrade path to Pro now. If anyone else has this problem, please let me know.
