Very simple and short sample of Geordie Walker's opening chord from the Killing Joke track Bloodsport. People of a certain age might recognize that the first part was played on a sampler to make the riff for Gary Clail's early 90s track Human Nature.
and Wardance, maybe other songs.. a sound they favored.. π
Hi There.
Does anyone here have any samples from the Moog Voyager.? Low to High of a few presets. Not every key.
I'd do the whole thing ,all the presets ,if I had one. And the time to do it.
Any presets at all. It doesn't matter.
Cheers
anyone got atmosphere noise...like people talking, chattering, street noise....kinda thing...
What's a good mixing technique for background atmos noise? Dip the vol considerably....keep in mono....kill the lower end...?
tx! alot...
tip: remux the 5.1 stream of a DVD/Blu_ray to 6 separate audio tracks, the (ambient) noises are (most of the time) on a separate track, wavelab from there to export

Sorry, remux`?
wavelab? that's just an audio processing thing..?
I made 64 Hard Techno Kicks with Single Cycle Waveforms on the Octatrack. Was frustrated by the results I got with other devices and thought I give it a shot. Im pretty impressed by the results, thought Id share.
Its in the form of two chains, two times 32 samples in a row. So you just load them in your Octatrack/Digitakt (or whatever other device can slice samples like that), slice into 32 pieces and then you can just scroll tru the samples with your start-knob. You can also slice them into 64 slices, that way you get the initial "punches" and the tails seperately and can combine different kicks into new ones.
Wavelab is just an audio mastering software suite from Steinberg that they recommended because they probably use it themself and like it. You can use any DAW or audio processing/mastering software you like, though.
Hey! Technically new to the forum but have been a longtime lurker haha
We just released a sample pack/compilation to fundraise for a mutual aid relief initiative being run by a synth library in Beirut. There's 300 sounds from Aotearoa (New Zealand) and Australian sound artists with all proceeds going towards the Beirut Synthesizer Center & Tunefork Studios' "For the Displaced" initiative.
There's a very wide variety of samples in there - from modular stuff to drums to field recordings - and they're all royalty-free. You can find it at the link below, along with an introductory essay about the Beirut Synthesizer Center and the incredible work they're doing at the moment.
I havenβt used my Boomstar much and wanted to replace it with a preset synth and have been multisampling ever since I put it on reverb. Been having some great results, here is a creamy bass/lead and a poly binaural patch. The Binaural is L & R layer on top of each other. Iβm not sure if it will be drag and drop into every multisample but it works in Bitwig and Maschine. Maschine sound file included.
