Remember: the kingKORG, like the Roland GAIA, are synths that found their successes outside of the synth-nerd/power user worlds. Success big enough for them to come back.
KK Neo's price is still an issue thought.
I agree. From what Iβve heard in the multi/poly demos, I think the KK clearly sounds better. If you feel the same way, you wonβt regret buying it.
Someone keeps claiming KK has more aliasing, but it's not true at all, and the aliasing affecting sound quality to a detrimental level only happens in very limited settings. Also, low cost oversampling to reduce aliasing sounds just bad.
In the first place, aliasing in synthesizers isnβt necessarily a bad thing. If it were inherently bad, then the PPG and SP1200 would have to be considered terrible gear.
Trust your ears.
