I think I may have been a fool... I'd been hearing about the differences between Sennheiser's e609 and e906. I eventually got curious enough to pick up an e906 to compare it to my e609 that I quite like. Found one on ebay for 96 bucks "new", thought it was a good deal, and ordered...
