"Spent the last 10 years hunting down the best gear for my \"guest bedroom studio\" Its actually nice.\r\n\r\nNow iv started cooking and going to pubs, working on cars. fixing things.\r\n\r\nToday I was going to fire up this TR-909 that I refurbished LAST YEAR and never used it. I installed into a mackie 1604 and \r\n\r\nand it all just sits.\r\n\r\nCubase is started now, nothing recorded.\r\n\r\nMy main gripe is making music with all hardware takes SO LONG compared to software.\r\n\r\nSecond gripe is living FAR RURAL there are no cool guys to jam with.\r\nMaking techno, dance, house music by your self is LAME. :yingyang:\r\n\r\nI changed to all hardware. Never been so unproductive.\r\nI still spend half an hour a day looking for gear to buy.\r\n\r\nIs there some physiological thing when your near 50 years old?\r\nThere is no way I could learn N.I maschine, learn a new DAW.\r\n\r\nI dont feel I can get better on synth or guitar unless I do it every day.\r\n\r\nI sit and stare at a blank DAW every day."
