Looking to get into a bit of atmos tinkering...atmos renderer is 249........Logic Pro with atmos is included is 199.......anyone know if there is any difference....?? I get a DAW with atmos for less than the atmos renderer...?? Just bounce the stems into logic is all I assume will be needed to use the atmos in logic..? Or am I missing something???

There are some benefits in using the Atmos Renderer by Dolby relative to some (or all) of the DAWs.

You need an Atmos system. That will cost you. Just sayin'...

I'm still figuring out stereo..

Yeah, was gonna start with headphones, but I just realised I already own 4 pairs of speakers and sub, just don’t have the space for them to be fully setup at the moment.

They are different brands, but are some of the better ones. Type 20 mk2’s and sub 08, rock mk2’s, sonodynes sm100ak and genelecs 8010a’s. Will eventually get the space to set them up, but whilst I don’t, my lcd-x headphones will be what I will use for now. Just trying to get a feel for atmos at the mo. Not looking to be a mastering for atmos studio either when all speakers are setup either. It will be for my own pleasure
