Behringer 676 vs Klark Teknik 76-KT?

Hey y'all,

Has anyone tried to compare the 1176 side of the pretty new 676 to the 76-KT?
I'm just wondering if it does a slightly different thing than the 76-KT I've already got.

Please refrain from discussing the business ethics of companies like Behringer / Klark Teknik - it gets a bit tiring trying to find out information about specific affordable products...

I only have experience with the Klark 76 but many people I have read over the years who discussed and compared the actual UA 6176 to the 1176 seemed to prefer the standalone UA 1176 to the version in the combo unit for what that's worth.

I have a klark and had and sent back the 676. Didn't like the 676 fet compressor. I however, love the klark kt76. It does what a 1176 is suppose to do catch Peaks.

I only have the KT, never heard the Behringer.. I was so impressed with the KT-76 I ordered a second one a few days after getting it. About $400 for a pair of 1176 knock offs that actually do the job, can't go wrong there.
