I do believe that EV has become a very underrated brand in the live sound reinforcement market today (and at least in the last 15-20 yrs)..
they have somehow “lost” a lot of the name recognition (at least here in europe), despite always having several good products that were (are) on par if not in some cases better than the competition.
(The EV RE520 condenser is also a very nice condenser mic, that is incredibly well priced, considering its sound and overall quality/sturdiness).
Didn’t want to derail the thread.. but maybe few of the mics mentioned here could also help the OP to fix his feedback issues..?

Thanks! I'll give the EV's a try and compare them to my current ND767a's. The 96 looks goofy though!
