This is pretty close to the 24Ao and 24Ai. Except they have AVB which is actually great because it's super easy to do exactly what you're describing.
A 24 channel snake into the console. My console tape outs go to the Ai, the tape ins come from the Ao. I have an Ultralite that I patch the various other console sends, inserts, and busses into.
All AVB'd up and the whole package (plus AVB box) was like $3k on Reverb.
34 analog in. 34 analog out. All TRS or DB25. Dead simple.
