Indeed, I like the bass drum but I'm not impressed with the engineering on the rest of the kit - certainly not what I'd expect from a studio. You know what it's like sometimes, this may have been a freebie for pals or a rush job - hence the detachment from the OP. Anyhow, I think I'll have a go for fun when I can grab a few hours. As there are no artistic directives I guess we can do what we like! I'm pleased that the OP started the thread as I think doing something different is always an opportunity to learn something new - even when you're a relic like me.
