Also Behringer was putting half decent pres into its mixers. Those sell second hand for not much. And I believe they are same as the ones in Midas gear.
WRT placing: if one is too lazy to watch a 3min YouTube vid on mic placing on a speaker, then just put your headphones on and move the mic across the speaker as well as closer of further away from the speaker. It will take 2 min to find something you like. Its a joke to make a big deal out of mic'ng a cab. A very simple thing to do.
I'm comparing the Sweetwater prices, december 2021:
SM57 99 USD
e906 199 USD
Here in Europe it's about the same, a brand new SM57 109€, an e906 is about 179€. This is why I said that SM57 is the cheapest mic, therefore the most recommended, at least among the branded ones. I exclude Behringer, Samson etc...
What, Midas? Behringer? Are you joking?

I'd like to know how many of the digital sycophants have had stuff like that on their hands. In my opinion none.
This is why, rather than dismissing objective arguments, they limit themselves to childish personal attacks. It seems to be dealing with primary school children. They're just biased fanboys agitated by equally biased sellers.
