I’m coming home from work…the dog jumps in the 4x4 and off we go to walk on the beach….watch the sunset….think and ponder….listen to the waves…connect with the bigger picture…
People need to get out more…quit social media and live!
Edit: And if you want to improve your recording and mixing….get some fecking HW already!

Yeah, pretty much so. Except for HW
(or maybe I have enough HW, also possible, there's a custom Khruangbin jazz bass I'd like to buy but I don't need another bass guitar).
Btw, I think I like buying presets and plugins more than I like making music lately. Making music is hard. I love it. But it's hard. I need to change this.
I (with my musical partner) have been talking to some labels (bc ours is not really doing much) but it's been like getting kicked in the balls.
It basically came out to "we like your music but is there something special about you? Is there a wild side to your partner in the band (she's a beautiful 33 yo singer and songwriter)?
Basically they're not looking for music but a sellable product. She's 33 and I'm 48.
"Are you having an affair at least?"
"What's the story with you two?"
"Do you have to be in the picture/promo shots?"
Anything we could feed social media and newspapers with,
We decided to stay with our present sleepy label. At least they're not complete arseholes.
Anyway, here's our latest dirge:

About a girl that comes home and there's already somebody else in her bed with her partner.
"I'm sorry I'm home early" is the line.
And then she kills them both. Lovely stuff.
