Seems since the last update Mystic is broken - flashing GUI elements and processing erratic .. like it was being bypassed/un-bypassed rapidly over and over.

Windows 11, Reaper and Ableton.

I mentioned this in the thread and all I got was that I should roll back. The issue as I pointed out in the thread was the new engine file.

Yes, I had no choice. Under the Installed tab, there's a drop down section next to Mystic. Choose the previous update.

Question for Tulip owners, do you have factory presets showing in the main channel strip plugin (called "TULIP" or "TULIPZL")? All I'm seeing in the preset menu is some greyed out text that says "Factory Library". That makes me assume there are supposed to be factory presets that come with Tulip but there are none under there. Is there supposed to be a separate install for the factory presets or something like that? Not sure why they would have a "Factory Presets" section with no presets included. Thanks for any responses.

The menu bar was implemented after Tulip's release (as were many other plugins). While in many cases the presets (when available) still appear in the GUI, the menu bar is useful for creating, saving, and exporting (or sharing) presets you create.

You can roll back to the previous release from the Aquarius Desktop "Installed" tab. The issue has been replicated and is pending fixing.

I can't remember whether or not it was mentioned here on GS, but (just a heads up) there is a little issue with the preamps in the CARDINALPRE and CARDINALEQ plugins:

When you turn on the 'ULTRA' switch, which slightly rolls off the lows and the highs, those roll-offs remain even when you disengage the 'ULTRA' switch. You can see what I'm talking about if you examine those plugins in PluginDoctor's LinearAnalysis window. You can get the plugins back to their non-'ULTRA' curves by turning their preamps off, disengaging their 'ULTRA' buttons, and then turning their preamps back on. Well, either that or reload the plugins.

I submitted a ticket to AA on this issue ten months ago. The A028 - 04 Jun 2025 update did not fix the issue (not that it was meant to).

For plugins that have both input trim (for pre) and a saturation knob, if we want the relation between pre and saturation to be most similar to the hardware should we use input gain instead of trim or saturation to drive it, and so leave the input trim and saturation knobs at their default settings of -18db and 0?

Still Authorization Issue with Spacecontrol2 in Wavelab and Cubase (both latest Pro versions), with broken GUI
Latest Update did nothing in this regards, my ticket was already closed although no fix.
Any fix for this on the way?

Also Magicflow has a "balance control module" issue in both Steinberg applications
No other DAW has this though, at least on my end.
Others had also issues on Mac in Logic and some other DAW...
Did the update help them?

Will there be a fix on the way, maybe, please, Studio DMI?

@ AcusticaCM : What's up with Aquarius? I just bought Taupe Studio and installing through Aquarius is usually fast. Today, however, it seems like it will take me app. 10 mins just to download Taupe S.

Aquarius downloads are handled by third-party enterprise cloud services such as Azure, Box, and Amazon.
Occasionally, slower downloads may occur.

Installed Purple 4 yesterday and still impressed by its usability and fast response. I especially liked Purple4 P-1 because, apart from sounding great, it's got that frequency response graph nicely embedded right into the plugin GUI. It also sounds pretty different (in a good way) from most other Pultec emulations I've used, probably thanks to their sampling technology, or whatever it's called. Anyway, I think it's Acustica's best plugin to date, and I really wish all their plugins had that kind of streamlined, user-friendly GUI.

Regarding unsolved issues with Studio DMI stuff (magicflow, spacecontrol2 in my case)

Its really pointless openen a ticket for their stuff, AA support cant do anything but forwarding the issues to them, but they dont seem to react

In the future no matter what Studio DMI is putting in the shop, I think about it ten times if I buy or maybe simply ignoring their stuff like they do (so it seems).

Spacecontrol 1 works, but 2 has issues, also Magicflow, so since other stuff by them works, it means they could do it, so I guess its simply ignorance or unwillingness from their side to take care about issues and their customers.

If one cant provide support for products one should not sell anything in the first place.
