Modular Synth Samples
Modular Drum Samples
TL;DR: The first link takes you to 16-bit 44.1khz .wavs with a bunch of synth sounds I created on my modular. The second link takes you to 16-bit 44.1khz .wavs with a bunch of drum/percussive sounds I created on my modular.
Long version: I'm preparing to move to a new project, so I'm clearing my samplers out. Before I do, I thought I'd share what I've made for anyone that wants them. This is two and a half years worth of sample-farming in these banks. The first bank is a bunch of pitched synth samples for melodies, bass, and such. The second bank is drums/percussion sounds I built and sampled myself. They consist of mostly samples of my modular systems (my bigass Eurorack system and my old DotCom system, though there are a couple samples from a Pro One, Red Square, Vostok, and Boomstar from when I still had those) for my own use.
The .zip files contain the raw .wav files, but also the setup files for the machines I sampled with. The melodic bank is formatted for a Roland Fantom G. The percussion bank is formatted for an Akai MPC5000. Again, the raw sample .wavs are in the files, so you don't need these machines to play the samples back. Because I handled tuning in the Fantom, if you're going to use the raw .wav files, you will have to retune them. If you are going to use this on a Fantom G, just unzip this file into the root directory of an empty USB flash drive, plug it into your synth, and it will boot up with the files, patches, and studio setups already loaded. Same with the MPC banks; they can just be unzipped to the root of your flash card.
Have fun and if you guys like this, let me know and I'll add more files the next time it's time to change gears.
