I've got two songs, both of them are my absolute favourite and I would really like to know what Drum machines they have used on both of the Songs.
The two Songs are both from the same Band (Public Relation) and were made in the late 80s in Belgium.
The first sample is from the song "Eighty Eight" which was released in 1988, as the title says.
The second sample is from the Song "Public Relations" and was released in 1987.

I used AI to rip the Beat from the songs, so I'm sorry if the quality is bad

But what I can definitely tell is that for "Public Relations" a Drum Machine from Yamaha was used. I don't know which one of them but probably one of the Yamaha RX's.
The clap sounds on them are all very identical and on of them was definitely used for the Song.

Yes, a heavily compressed RX drum machine is my guess.

I think they used an actual Electric guitar for Public relations, as the band member "Patrick Evelyn" was in two other Groups where he was always listed as the Guitar player.

And I am also guessing that at least for the Thunder, at the beginning of the song, they used the "Noise Sweep" preset from the Juno-106.
But I know that they mostly used the Juno-106 for Eighty Eight.
