Just bought my moog one (after exchanging for one with lots of dust under LED panel) after several exchanges. Every single one on the back has the thin metal/mesh panel warped/bend inward in various degrees/places. Wonder if this is common to see on Moog ones? People say Moog one has great build quality but this is giving me second thoughts...

I've had a few units so far, and yes one of them had that warp/bend bit more than the others. My final Moog One had neither of the initial issues or the warped/bent screen though. How bad is it? Mine was only minor and that wasn't why I exchanged the unit.

One I received was really bad, visible and the back is all wobbly...
Basically I think they should have built extended structure to secure the screen to the edge, but they only have a couple of support points. They could also use a thicker screen so it doesn't flex crazy...

Right... I feel like they could have simplified the design and created a more solid unit.

Not to worry. Mine has some slight warping to the thin metal mesh. It's caused by the expanding and contracting due to the heat. It doesn't affect the sound at all. Post some pictures?
For any interested, I just wrapped up a set of 50 Presets for the Moog One that are available on my website as part Two of the Odyssey Expansion Pack and released a demo on the YT showcasing the sounds
Finally got a chance to play one. 45 minutes or so at a quiet Guitar Center, with headphones. One could devote a lifetime to exploring this machine, and 45 minutes is basically nothing. Of course. That said, I think I got a basic sense of the sound and the experience of navigating it, and can now understand why some swear by it and why others are less enthusiastic -- I can see both sides of this one.
It is epic, despite some quirks.
Price is justified by the uniqueness of capabilities Moog One offers.
Moog should continue to develop its OS and to keep QC on the very high level, as expected from flagship product.
Even as is, it is way more than most of us ever dreamt before it was released.
So, big

Just bumping this and hoping @
Quantum7
would Please grace us by attempting a remake on his Moog One. (Do you still have it, Sean?) (If not, I might give it a try this summer. Or wait until Korg releases the new PS-3300).

Take a gander at the links below. I have not tried them out. If I do this I would be imputing the music to my DAW by playing one track at a time from the score.

Hello everyone.
I got a 16 Moog One a while ago so have been testing and reading up on the manual. One practical question.
I think the sound is better when I listen from the headphone output vs the main output. The main output is connected to an RME UFX III and I compare by listening to the RME headphone out.
The base is stronger and I think it sounds a bit more clear on the headphone output.
Any ideas why this could be the case?
Maybe they added an EQ to the headphone out that bumps the base a bit?
I could not imagine the RME would color the sound this much, but that is another option. I have no FX or EQ added in RME.
I use a Beyerdynamic 770 Pro 80 Ohm. Probably a good idea to upgradet the headphones too.

Couple things, Output Impedance: The headphone output might have a different impedance than the main output. Headphone outputs are typically designed to drive headphones directly, so they often have lower output impedance compared to line outputs, which are meant to drive line-level inputs on other audio equipment like your RME UFX III. This difference could result in variations in frequency response, especially with certain headphones like your Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro. Perhaps this gain gives a perception of more bass. Additionally are you using the preamp inputs on the RME? Again that gain could give perception of more bass.
